Whitney is good. Lots of old boat ramps.

No thanks! There are critters that bite down in them hidey holes.

If it goes up there is a snake or turtle.

But if it goes down its a fish.

Go with someone that has some noodling experience.

Look for big rocks that are fully submerged, no air under the rock means no toothy critters. Push a stick under the rock and see if you can feel what's under it, hard or soft. Turtle will be hard, fish will be soft. If the mouth of the rock is muddy, most likely no fish, if clean, like it's been swept, there is likely a fish under it. When you have found a fish under a rock, feel all the way around the rock, there will likely be other holes, block them and leave you one hole. Take your stick and move the fish to your side of the rock and then put your hands in and try to get him to bite.

use a soft wheat flour, or the pasta won't roll out thin enough. the taste won't be effected, but you'll have thick noodles. and cook them al dente.

Can we be serious on this site for 2 seconds? Noodling is a serious matter. I do wish they would change the name to .....MEN who have no fear of getting their hand ripped off or maybe MEN who like cottonmouths hanging from their arms. LIke the Geico pig says....pure adrenaline.......haha
