    Game Cameras

Just wanted some opinions on some game cameras. I have been looking at a moultrie 4.0 gamespy for about a hundred bucks and wanted to get some feedback from some of ya'll that may have them or may have used them. There is a bushnell for about the same price. Which is better in ya'lls opinion? Can't afford a cuddeback, using a gift certificate to cabelas for this one! Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I got a pocket full of Cabela gift cards and thought the 2 digital camers for $99 buck was good deal. You can't have too many game cameras on the ranch.

I bought a Moultrie camera from Wally World and it didn't work. I ended up getting two more of the same kind and they were all junk. Wally World finally swapped the last one out for the Moultrie 4.0. So far it has worked good.

      Moulitrie

I have had a # of Moultrie GameSpy Cams and have never really been overwhelmed by them . They usually worked , but every now and then would have a mess up. I recently bought a 2 new Moultrie I40's and I absolutely love them. The battery life is unreal, the trigger speed is good, and the IR mode is much better than having a flash.

I need to update the game camera I got at Cabelas.

The 2 for $99 bucks lasted about a month. I took them back to exchange them and the next ones never worked.

I'm returning them tomorrow for my money back.

I would skip the Gamespy and go with an I40. THey work great(so far). I have had nothing but trouble out of my Moultrie 100, 2.1, 200 and whatever that other Moultrie was. I think Moultrie listened(or got tired of getting back TC's by the truck load) and did good with the I40. The D and M40's are ok but you can't beat the battery life of the I40. Had mine out for almost 6 months and it had taken more than 8000 pics on same battery.

Have 3 of the Moultrie D40's been very pleased. Long battery life, no problems, great pictures. I personally don't like the IR night shots, hard to distinguish the deer that aren't close up, like the full flash pictures, hasn't seemed to spook the deer.
