My boss was telling me he found what looks like a full blood beagle, and I was wondering what are beagles good for? I thought I heard some people using them for tracking downed deer, but not sure. Thanks

To say the least, a Beagle is nothing more than pure, un-adultereted, small game hunting machines. You should be cautioned however that beagles are like "Lays" potatoe chips. You can't have just one. And if you really want to have some fun, cross a beagle with a Treeing Walker hound. Not by my choice, I had this happen to me when I ran hounds. I named the resulting litter as "Super Beagles". They were awsome in every sense of their title. C'ya
