    Bird Lady Question?

The new house recently purchased has a neighbor to the rear that has 17 bird feeders in her yard and no trees for them to roost in so guess where their roosting, craping and dieing? You got it in my Like Oaks and it stinks something awfull!!! With the ground being white under the trees and dead birds scattered about.
Is their anything I can do to resolve this? Any ideas? I've got a call in to the city currently but waiting for a call back.

Maybe put some owl decoys in your tree? Other than that I'm not sure what you can do as I doubt she's breaking any laws.

        Owl decoy?

        Fake snakes?

12 guage with a cylinder choke?

Chain a cat to that tree?

        Real snakes?

Build one of them owl nesting boxes?

She may have created a condition that creates a nuisance on your property, but it's probably not a situation that law enforcement would want to resolve with a citation or criminal charge. They'd tell you it's a civil matter, which means you might have to sue her, and that would be a very iffy proposition. I'd try to come up with a "homemade" solution first.

Other than that, I think perhaps a talk with the crazy cat, err, I mean bird lady is in order.... perhaps accompanied by a walk through your ****ty backyard.

Buy yourself a falcon. I would definately have a talk with her, and see about planting her some trees.

I would scatter some more dead birds around.

I would guess the birds are mostly sparrows so they would be legal to shoot. I would tell her of your problem and if she is not willing to cut WAY back on feeding then you will shoot and kill as many birds as possible.

I bet you a hundred she is a tree huggin enviro kook!

Maybe a 20 lb bundle of tannerite in each tree an 18 pack for the afternoon!

A truly effective repeating sparrow and starling trap at an affordable price! Bluebird and Purple Martin ‘landlords’ are singing the praises of these traps.

depending on where you live the health department if there is one can handle it,, heath problems caused by the birds can make it to court and forced removal if need be... or buy cats and feed them at her house
