    Dallas Area Cajun/Seafood Restaurants?

Where is there a good place that I can get mudbugs, peel-and-eat shrimp, along with catfish, crab legs, and bucket of beer? Would prefer to avoid Joe's Crab Shack.

The Boiling Crab has the best crawfish Ive had in DFW. They arent cheap, I think they are $7-8 a lb. By far the best hands down, I ate 10 lbs last time we went. Im usually not a fan of bugs in a restaurant, but I will eat theirs!

Razoo's hasn't been worth a darn this year for crawfish, at least not the one in Plano, Papadeaux, Nates, and Fishmongers all have crawfish and are very dang good!

Fishmongers is prolly our favorite. 6.99 a lb at fishmongers, 4.99 a pound at Razzoo's.

I think the place is called "Big Shucks" or "Aw Shucks" or something like that. It's on East Mockingbird in Dallas. Kind of place where you can order a bunch of crawfish with corn and potatoes, and they give you a big roll of paper towels to use as napkins to keep the mess at a mininum. It's been awhile since I've been, though, so don't know what it's like now. Also don't remember the prices, but when I used to go, it would always get packed with lots of waiting time to be seated Friday evenings during crawfish season.

Fish Shack on 15th street/75 in Plano. Saw a lady killing a batch at lunch today...they looked big too. Have heard several people say they do them really well there.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and his wife come to the Fish Shack and eat from time to time...Great Place. Always packed.
