Just got mine yesterday. Still haven't tried it in the field. But, I notice that it has problems sending the sound to the speaker from the remote. It's as if the range is very minimal for the remote to work. Any of you have this problem?

I have noticed it can be hard to reach it if it is on the ground or obstructed by brush. I have started elevating it in a tree or bush, a couple feet off the ground. It seems to work great that way and it also helps project the sound from the one speaker. Hope this helps. -

I have the same unit and have for a little over two years. I find the range is about half of what is stated. That said the recommendation of getting off the ground and no brush in the way is the ticket to better performance of the remote.Comment
