If I was coming from the airport.....then that would make sense to merge onto 170 BUT with all the traffic that's up there it's ridiculous! I'll be coming from my house and which you know is way down south!

Plus....I'm also dragging FND with me. Quick trip to CCR too!

Drive from 67 and 35 to Denton everyday... Going is not my issue.. It's the return trip and it starts 287 / 35 all the way down to 30 / 35... If I can make it there it usually picks up.. But drive time is about 1 1/2 both ways... Now lets talk rain , or ice ( in cold weather ) then it gets longer..

No way I would do that every day. I live about 4-6 miles from work and takes me about 9-12 minutes to get to work and home. Just depends on if I catch the 2 red lights or not.

YOu guys do know there are other roads that go both north/south and east/west through ft worth without having to jump into all that construction right? Like 156, Long Ave. Beach St. to name a few.

North/South has quite a few alternatives, East/West has fewer good ones though, especially in that area. I've taken every possible pig trail from NW FW to N Arlington, and sometimes... you just have to realize isn't going to take you over an hour.

I drove Preston-->635-->75-->167 for a year before I moved out of Plano, that was a nightmare.

sorry about the loss--- I also have a strong disdain for traffic in the metroplex--- and finally, I have never understood the whole meet your make thing.... If you havent met H^M already then when this life on earth is over you arent going to meet H^M anyway
