    Matthew 9:35-38

The Workers Are Few - Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”

The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ain't it the truth, even today. And way too often, I don't take advantage of the opportunities I have to help and serve others. Life is distracting. I spend most of my time on the urgent rather than the important, sadly.

        Yep, thats true david.

v37 is as true today as then. There are too few workers. The harvest is plentiful still. People are going to hell all the time because of too few workers. We, myself included, have been too busy and too tired to work for Him because we are working too hard on the stuff we want. My toes are hurting after these verses.

So true, it seems as though when the time is right, I'm too busy doing what I think is important. I feel the shame.
