Jason you posted a while back about a new chemical or different chemical for killing cactus. It was something besides Remedy or Tordon. Any info and first hand experience would be great. And do I need an aplicators license to get it.

I believe the product is called Vista and produced by Dow agrichemicals.

No. Remedy and deisel is still the recommended way to kill mesquite.

Are you using it mixed with Tordon- when I was reading it says can be used in combonation with Tordon- I am looking at something that I can do one application and then push it by late summer without spreading seed everywhere.

Vista is Floroxpyr, Tordon is Picloram.
You can get the same as Vista/Tordon with the product "Surmount".
Both Tordon and Surmount requires a pesticide license to purchase/apply. but Vista does not.
