No Call Lists are a joke!!!!!!!!!

The Texas and/or National Do Not Call Lists are a complete joke as well as the FCC for not enforcing these lists.

Since February 23rd I have received 50 unsolicited calls from 19 different numbers and 7 different states. I have been on the Do Not Calls lists for every phone number I have and to me just putting your # on the list increases the number of nusiance calls.

What are some of your remedies to stopping these calls?

I personally do not answer these calls if I do not recognize the area code on the call. Some of these calls are from the same company, but from different numbers and different states. Arizona seems to be a hot bed for these solicitors. 5 of the numbers are from Arizona, 3 from Texas, 2 from Nevada, 2 from California and 1 each from Georgia, Vermont and Illinois.

I think you have to renew the "NO CALL" status every so often. Not sure, but I am having the same problem in just the last month or two.

I answer and make it a point to have fun, why not? they can't hang up on you. So i go to town on these guys

Cell phone and I have renewed the No Call list almost every year.

When they call I like to listen to their little speech for a minute then tell them I have to go ask my mother if it's all right to talk to strangers.

I think i would quit renewing. I never get them and havent put my number on a do not call list.
