Snakelover, once I figured out that I was somewhat of a bonehead I figured that out. Then my avatar was blurry. I gave up for now. I will fix it soon. Thanks for the info....much appreciated.

Burntorange Bowhunter, if you need help with the avatar...

And, yes, I'll even help a Longhorn fan!

Now I'm going to try to reference a previously uploaded attachment manually by using the same syntax, but listing the ID number of the previously uploaded attachment...

            [ATTACH]373[/ATTACH]

Hmmm... mixed results. I mean, you can click on it and see the previously uploaded picture of Ronnie's grandson, but it doesn't automatically appear in the post.

It seems like there would be a way to make those images appear again.
The only way I see it can work is, if you want to use a picture that you've previously uploaded, you have to go to the user CP, click on the one you want to use, right click, properties and find ut the attachment number. then go back to your post where you want to put it and use the folowing code [ATTACH]attachment # (ie 561)[/ATTACH].

Hope this makes sense. Basically you just put the attachment number in between the bracketed codes.

Snakelover.......it's just football. Speaking of that, nice win on Saturday. I only hate OU, Ark., ND, Miami. I root for all Texas kids. Hopefully we can have a top ten matchup of one loss teams come T1. However, it is at DKR so don't get all froggy.

Mike, the way you described is exactly what I did. However, it doesn't show the actual picture, but rather a link to it like this....

                    [ATTACH]532[/ATTACH]

                    Oh well.

How do you get your profile photo down to 100 by 100 pixels? I've reduced several times already but it will not get that small. It is however well below the file size limit, just too many pixels? Any help on this?

That's a great pic, Rotag. But it's not the one I'm remembering!

the easiest way I know to re-size an image to post is with this website > tool
really easy !! Online photo-resizing tool:

and after I re-size the photo I upload the picture to

Content from Photobucket intended to make storing and preserving photo and video memories easier.

and then copy & paste the URL that has the [img] image tags around it into the body of my post
