Got the Invista job interview in the morning at 7am and got all kind of things running thru my head.Fixing to try and get some sleep but i can allready tell i ain't gonna sleep a bit.Gonna say a longgggggg prayer in a few minutes so wish me some luck.I'm gonna need it in the morning......

Invista

How did it go? I had an interview with them on the 22nd. This was the second time I was picked for an interview by them. Hopefully this time turns out better than last. They said 28 spots and they were interviewing a little over 100 people. Not bad odds compared to most of the plants up here by houston. Have you heard back yet? I haven't gotten the email of death yet so I still have my fingers crossed.

Formosa is building a new Olefins unit gonna need 200-250 new operators. FYI

Not just another olefins .another pvc ,lldpe adding on to vcm and a frac unit that is being added on to olefins 2. They have broke ground on the frac unit.

They are supposed to make offers by Tuesday so hopefully I will get a phone call. If not then I def look into Formosa. How do you apply for them or are the jobs even posted yet?

Bjm , I dont think all the jobs are posted . The best bet is to bug the heck out of the work force center . Formosa does all their hiring through them.

I got the phone call this mourning about 8:30. Start date is mid April so that gives me about 3-4 weeks to find a decent rent house.

Good luck finding a decent rent house. My parents and sister both live in Victoria and rental property is crazy there right now. Between the oil field and CAT the rental market is booming.
