Cool! That's a new one on me. I knew it didn't look like a fallow, but I was thinking it was a nubbin sika just looking at the head in that pic on the other thread. I bet it tastes better than that capibara that Brian killed a while back!

They were imported into the U.K. many years ago. Had a friend in N. England that hunted them with various C&Rs (and wildcat variants of those).
He said they were great eating.
...'course, he also said lintel soup was delicious (where's the YUK!!! emoticon when you need one?).
