Looking for a place to ride horses.

I'm looking for some suggestions from the green screen on places where I can take my wife horse back ridding for our wedding anniversary as part of our Date Day!
I would rather it be some place where you can ride in a field or down some trails, I would like to stay away from just ridding in a circle in a pinned in area. It can be a place that does this kind of stuff as a business, or just one of you TBH members that has horses that wouldn't mind letting us ride. (Very taimmed horses of corse)
We are in the Houston area, but it is ok if we need to make a little drive somewhere.
I am wanting to do this some time between March 4th - 8th.

If your date involves driving 10 hrs you can come up to the panhandle and ride! Lol- joking... bump for ya...

Silver Trails.com. I think she is still taking riders. Her name is Linda. Tell her that Debra with Hayloft at Lake Travis sent you. Hope this is not to much of a drive. Many of my customers have done this and all have had nice things to say.

Most of the public land and WMA lands have cool horse riding trails. Just a thought...

When I hunt at this ranch I always see horse riders, it's not published on their website but might just want to give them a call.

you use to be able to rent horses at crystal beach. not sure if you still can.

there used to be a place @249 and beltway that had horseback riding. not sure of the name. other than that all i can think of is several places down on galveston island.
