How big can wild hogs get??

I agree Randy. 400 wild is a total monster. Most of the 400-600 pound pigs that get killed or seen really weigh about 200-250 if they were actually put on a scale as seen through Hog Goggles.

Pic doesnt do it justice but have 7 880lb electric hoists, stainless cleaning tables & sinks, walk in cooler. Were dang proud of and put it to work just about everyday.

This one weighed 300lbs even on buyers scales the next day. I'm on the right in the blue shirt, I'm 6'2" 255lbs for a size reference. For wild hogs 300+ can happen, anything close to 400 and over has usually been barred, not always though. I would say anything close to 500 would be domestic, or domestic cross.

This is "Muckle D Muck." He's the biggest I've ever seen. Passed on him multiple times just because I didn't want to drag him to the truck alone.

I killed one that weighed over 300 over the dogs once. 309# on scales, of course she was about to drop 9 piglets and I had no idea she was that big, head was all I could see and I shot her with .22Mag behind the ear

Dad and a couple of friends killed one over 400 that had not been cut but it put the hurt on the dogs too, killed a couple and beat the rest up bad before they got to it


Wild ones can get big but they are rare
