Remington 700 Info

I am trying to figure out what model Remington 700 my brother has and was wondering where I might be able to get the info. The gun is around 20 years old, has a wood stock, and black barrell and is a 270. It does not have the drop plate on the bottom side. I just bought a 700ADL 270 and the guns are quite different in quality in my opinion. Would I be able to call Remington and give them the serial number and get what I am looking for?

Just call remington

It is a ADL. They have changed them over the years, but if it is a 700 with no flooplate it is a ADL.

Yup its an ADL I have a 7mm that's fits the exact description
