Got back from my recent trip to South Africa, and there is absolutely no place like it. Africa is just different it's something I look forward to every time I've went. Already looking forward to the next trip that is booked and the start of the dangerous 7 as I look to take a Leopard with a bow if possible.
Spent 10 days in the Northern Cape with some good friends, Took my biggest to date animal body size wise, as I went for this hunt I honestly figured I would have to have a back up shot with the rifle but to my surprise the 1 arrow did its job and he went down within couple hundred yards. I finished my Springbok slam with a white springbok on day 4 with the bow. Springbok have to be my Top 3 animals to hunt so when I saw this big 16" Copper I had to add him to the trophy room also! Day 10 we spotted this big Kalahari Springbok, he's got a little different shape then normal springbok's has he goes straight up but he was BIG we decided to take him and low an behold he broke the 18" mark. There no way I can pass up the big springbok's lol. Some of these animals you see and you just have to have. Just thought id share a few pictures from my trip.
