Nice Bluegill!

Caught a bunch this weekend in a local ditch/bayou with a fly rod. If catching bluegill & bass from the bank is the limit of your fly fishing this setup from Academy along with some Betts popping bugs (walmart) are all you will ever need.

Awesome bluegill! Bee bop wrecked them on lake fork Monday! We cleaned a mess of them. He eats them thangs were there ain nothing left for an ant to eat, and never gets a bone. Lola will gag and hack for 45 minutes. Lol

This was last week. We were home alone fending for ourselves…. He had a catfish thrown in there too he caught…. There were no leftovers

I’ve caught some that have some major shoulders and have that hump started on their heads . They hit like a 2lb ticked off bass and fight all of the way in.
