Did you bolt yours down to anything? I wouldn't want someone to be able to steal my whole safe

I cant follow the link... dang work filter...
But I have 2 gun vaults that hold pistols... and other small items... one in the truck behind the center console, the other at the house.
Both are bolted in with atleast 4 bolts. -
Bolting is a good idea...if you have a place to bolt it to...My big safe is bolted to the floor...a good place but I don't want to lie down on the floor every time that I want to open my pistol safe..you could make a small shelf near the bedside and line it up with a wall stud and bolt through the back of the safe,through the wall ,and into the stud with lag screws>>> or put it on top of a dresser and do the same bolting into a stud..my pistol safe sits on my dresser with a 98 lb Weimer at the foot...she watches it when I'm not at home...Comment

Yep I've got one on the night stand next to the bed....not bolted down. Only reason I have it is to keep my little boys hands off my loaded pistol. Big gun safe is bolted to the floor in the hunting room. Like Winman I have a 70 lb lab watching the gun vault, but all she will do is lick some one to death! LOLComment
