Cooling fan question?

I’m 50 miles south of SA in Atascosa County. Anyone have experience with one of these big cooling fans? When I lived in Corpus, ones we had in shop at work was not the best at blowing cool air.
Never thought of myself as a sissy but this heat sure gets me as I get older

From what I was told, the ones down in Corpus did not work well due to humidity down there? No clue. Im about ready to pull the trigger on one after working on my truck today
