    First Aoudad!

Lets see those Aoudad mounts. I'm still undecided on how i want to have him mounted. Also looking for a taxidermist around the Houston Area. If anyone has any recommendations, please let me know. Thanks

Got him on my new lease near Carta Valley. Not sure on the measurements. Hell, I wouldn't even know where to start to try and score him. I was planning on getting the taxidermist to walk me through that. I can get some measurements tonight and get back with you.

Did you keep the whole skin?
I love the mounts of the front half with the leg chaps showing.

Palermo in Bryan did this one. A word of caution, some taxis will put wd 40 or some type of oil on horns which darkens them quite a bit. I prefer them to look natural so told them not to do it.

Congrats! That's awesome country. Not Houston but on the way - Yardbird's in Liberty Hill does the best aoudad I've seen. There's a bunch on his website. https://yardbirdstaxidermy.com/gallery/#shoulder-mount
