Alaska Cruise!

Wife and I have never been on any cruise. We are scheduled for a 7 day Alaskan cruise aboard Royal Caribbean.

My Bil and SIL have been before so we are relying on them a LOT!

Looking forward to this cruise. First one. BiL and wife will be their 17th!

My wife went on the Alaskan cruise. I didn’t go, being hemmed up for a week ain’t my thing. She enjoyed it but she had lots of her family along. Only one thing she didn’t enjoy and that was the rough weather they encountered one day or night. She said the ship was heaving pretty hard. Beautiful scenery though, and nice little towns. I’m sure you will enjoy it !

I’ve been twice also and it is awesome. You aren’t really stuck on the boat. You wake up in the morning at a port, go have fun, get back on the boat to eat then sleep then wake up in a new port. It is just a floating hotel for the most part. Also I highly suggest a balcony for watching the wild life along the shore. We actually saw an orca breach and take a seal. Nothing like a gulf cruise.

If funds provide, a pass to use the "adults only" spa/sauna/hot tube is great. It's nice be able to get away from the 12-year olds!!

If you're getting to see Glacier Bay, be sure to have a jacket. It gets darn cold around that huge chuck of ice.

Awesome trip. I’m going for the 4th time in June. Second cruise other 2 times were fishing. It’s an awesome experience.

Have fun. That's the only cruise I think that I would enjoy. Going to Ketchikan this summer to fish.
