    Pop up platform builds

So, my tower blind finally gave up the ghost. I’ve got a Huge Tidewe 270 degree see through blind that I’m considering mounting on a platform.
Can those of you that are hunting in a platform mounted pop up post up some pics and some hindsight ideas that t you wish you woulda thought of before building? I’m considering building it in two 4’ x 8’ sections so I can carry it in a short bed pick up. What do yall think?
I’d like to build another tower blind if I can get past these breathing/heart issues I’m dealing with.
    Blessings yall

We build 3 of these these last year, they are about 4’ high. We used 2x4 for the base, and supports, and then 8’ 4x4 for the legs cut in half. These are very stable, and just the right height for our feeder pens. We also added carpet to the floors, and that was a great improvement for noise, as well as steps to climb up. We currently use pop ups on them, but plan to get a couple krivomans to put up soon.

Here’s a view from the backside of one Ive had out for several years. 48” tall. I stapled down some outdoor carpet and used deck screws and fender washers through the stake loops. Guy ropes tied to nearby brush and to the ladder on the back

Dang Jerp. The blind hasn’t faded at all. Or do you take it down every year.

Well, that’s a new blind - that picture was taken right after I put it up. I left the first one on that platform too long after the season. Not only did it fade but the pack rats chewed their way in and built a huge nest - like a knee high brush pile. I now take it down after the last hunt of the season.

I've built a couple of these. This is the latest one. I prebuilt/cut everything I could, carried it by trailer and assembled on sight. I wouldn't change a thing!
