Entered a hog tournament this weekend with a couple of friends. We were running dogs but the thing was open to rifle hunters as well. No way we could compete on the weight but we did win the biggest cutter. Our best hog had one that was 3 3/16. His other side was 2 3/4. Either one would have won the side pot. Not much money for the side pots but I came out ahead a little and had a ton of fun. The contest started at 5:00PM on Saturday and you had to be at the weigh in by 10:00AM Sunday morning. I will be 60 in December. trying to survive on about 3 hours of sleep was rough but we will do it again at some point.
