    Bears and their Shenanigans

Was out showing properties to clients and decided to swing by our place just North of Talihina, Just when you think you will have a Spring filled with awesome velvet deer pictures, the bears show up early like wrecking balls.

How is everyone else doing in the deep dark Eastern Oklahoma woods this year>

Look into how to charge the feeder with a solar fence charger. I'm going to have to do it before too long. West texas though not Oklahoma

Both feeders that they molested were not staked down, unfortunately both were just filled and had a 1000 pounds each in them.. Ill be back up there showing properties to clients and meeting with a Forestry Mulcher this weekend and plan on getting them all staked down and refilled.

Ours just tear them put worse once staked out. We started hanging feeders between 2 pines. Haven't lost one yet since doing that. I have once spot that doesn't have tree to hang from. Going to try setting pipe in the ground and see how that works.

We’re in Oklahoma where the bears run wild. We have tri pods cranked up where the bottom of the controller is about 8 1/2’ above ground. They are staked well. Then screw in the shark teeth on inside and outside on all three legs about 6’ up. They leave them alone, the shark teeth are the trick.
