Catfish fillets?

B-I-L having a celebration of life get together honoring my sister who passed last month.
She loved crab legs & seafood so he's doing a boil & fish fry. Fannin Co.
He had Catfish & crappie lined up but it fell thru this a.m. No idea how/why.

Where'd be the best place to buy Catfish? We need it by tomorrow for sat.

He's expecting over 100 folks maybe closer to 200 but has 200# bugs, crab legs, shrimp, lobster, plus burgers & dogs. 75#s of fillets prob work?

Albertsons? Sam's? Or is there a seafood market N of metromess ?

I have zero recommendations on store bought catfish bud. If you were closer to Houston I could I hook you up with some fo sho. Maybe some of our green screen brothers and sisters can rise up to the occasion! They typically do.

I would try to find fesh lake catfish and not store bought farm raised. There are commercial catfish fisherman around Lake Livingston that sell fresh caught catfish. I would definitely try and find one of those type places to get them.

HEB carries Striped Pangasia, or Basa, we used to cook it at Bownanza and it is a very good catfish and typically not too pricey.

Derek, I'm real sorry about your terrible loss! If I had the fish, I'd brang it to you! I am temporarily unable to drive for the next few days, but I'd bet if someone round had the fish, or multiple folks could put it together for ya, a TBH Express could be arranged!

Kroger has frozen catfish fillets in Paris TX

You may try and call the Fish Fry restaurant 903 785 6144 asked for Gary Ensey in Paris TX. I think they will sometimes sell frozen catfish. Let him know what you have going on and he may help you out. You would need to pick it up.

Also try Hucks Catfish in Denison. They may sell catfish frozen also. ph is 903 337 0033.
