hope its ok to post this on tbh? just trying to help....Shelley Sikes murderer up for parole - need letters sent to the Parole Board
I received the below. We've done this before. Please email or fax or mail a letter objecting to parole for Gerald Zwarst.
I need your help. One of the men that was convicted of abducting Shelley Sikes, is up for parole. John King and Gerald Zwarst were given life sentences in 1988. The family received the notice that Gerald Zwarst is being considered for parole.
To this day, we still do not know where her body is. Gerald Zwarst’s mother still lives I the El Lago area. I do not know if he could be released to this area, o...r be free to visit his mother. Either way, I do not want to run into him or have him around my daughters or any of my friends. The fact is he should remain in prison for the duration of his sentence.
Please let the parole board know your feelings. You can fax, e-mail or mail a letter to:
Victim Services Division

FAX: 512-452-0825
E-Mail victim.svc@tdcj.state.tx.us
Be sure to include his State ID: 02060724 TDCJ ID: 00485451
My family and I want to thank you ahead of time for your help in keeping this violent criminal behind bars. Five years ago due to the help of family and friends, we were able to keep him in prison, let’s do it again. Unfortunately, I will be asking for your help in a few months when John King's case goes before the parole board.
Without your help, this man may be free to work and live in your community.
Sincerely,
The family of Shelley Sikes
