Need help with sd card problem

I have a number of sd cards, that when I put them into my game cameras, I get the message "no sd card" or "trail card full". Is there something I can do that will make them usable again or is it time to trash them and buy new.

Re format your card and it’s like new again. You can do it on some cameras or on your computer.

If the card will not successfully reformat, chunk it away and get new.

make sure connectors are clean on the card.

Also, some of my cameras will not use sd cards that say ultra on them. Coverts are one.

You can clean the connections with a pencil eraser.

not all cards are created equal .. some required higher speed.. find out what you camera takes.. then format it on the camera itself , or on a computer.. usually fat32.

when in doubt , just buy a new one ... these things sit in the sun and weather and are not always great quality to begin with .. treat them like the oil filter on your car.

Like said above. Pencil eraser will majority of the time fix the problem.
