Need to get my daughters new ride tinted for the east texas summer.

as a college student that is commuting, she spends alot of time in it.

any advice on what type of tint is best?

Ceramic is a good option.

One bit of advice. If you’re in the Houston area and talk to someone name Ulises, don’t use him. He did my 2022 Ram crew cab about a year ago and I’m going to have to have at least one window done because we screwed it up and had ghosted me 5 times since I let moisture try to work its way out.

That’s after I fixed the front driver’s side window on my own by pushing the excess water.

Oh yeah, he also screwed up the front passenger door panel on the truck so there’s bonus F-up points.

Not sure where you are located if near Baytown John Trim Shop has a tint guy. They will guarantee the work, they have been around a long time.
