I have a similar road to my place. I have 30' and with ditches and a turn it is not wide enough. Since you own it I would make it at least 30' but would suggest 45. Doesn't matter if it goes thru the pond.

It appears 30’ is the general consensus. I’ll just move the garden fence and fill in the north end of the pond as I prefer to have the fences and legal boundaries align.
The entrance off the CR isn’t an issue. My entrance is at a 90 degree turn so it is a straight shot into my gate. Additionally I built a 60’ wide x 100yd long trap when I gave my neighbor an easement. I’ll give the same easement to the purchaser of the 10ac as the trap will easily accommodate all three properties. The 25’ (will increase to 30’) lane is a 300yd straight shot from the trap to the pasture I’ll be retaining.
