Yes they do!! I saw a doe jump into a high fence Saturday took her 3 times but she finally made it over the top.. to bad she wasn't pregnant with twins and jumping out of the fence, and bedd'n up in my bull mesquite thickets !!
I've seen it several times. Also, our place at Spofford was next to a couple high fence places that really shot their doe populations to an extreme. We had plenty of doe and had some big ol' bucks come and go almost at will over those fences. No such thing as a "game proof" fence.
Our Neighbor high fenced his property. I asked the same question- Asking how many people have seen it happen ? A few replied back that it happens.
Personnaly - I know it happens- I've seen it as well.
I looked up a study that was done by a wildlife study- The study group radio collared 20 bucks- Out of those 20 bucks, 7 went over the high fence.
That is almost 50% !!
Can't wait to see what comes over our fence in the future !!!

I've seen deer jump through the middle of our high fence that were spooked from my truck. This has happened twice as they seem to go where the two pieces of fence go together. Absolutely impossible for us to keep them in on our bad borders.
Seen it happen. I would figure 90% of the time the deer is getting pushed or is spooked. On our place if we see a deer on the fenceline we back off and will literally turn the truck off. I think places that have a ton of hunting pressure, lots of trucks driving around are more likely to see it.
I was watching a show on one of the animal channels and they were talking about deer and thier ability to jump. If anyone saw this or anything like it correct me if I am wrong. But it seems like they said a mature deer (buck or doe) can jump 12' up at a stand still.
