These threads are further evidence of no rhyme or reason to camera satisfaction. You guys have seen my recent post in a few cam threads to include Moultrie. I have tried so many over the years.

Currently I also have a Muddy Manifest 2.0 Cell cam I reactivated yesterday to replace a Moultrie I turned off. This Muddy has been running flawlessly for 4 years. I also use cheap $34 Muddy trail cams because the more expensive would fail.

Consider on the same cell account which is actually Stealth Cam, I’ve had several failures.

Cams are a shot in the dark regardless of brand.

Reconyx has never failed me but I wholeheartedly believe its just luck.

This is kind of why I want to get a list of them.
First they are all electronic and well they are all in harsh environments.
They all have similar features that lead me to believe that there are truly only a few manufactures of these and therefore all come from a few places.
I would like to take this list and do a pole to see who uses what once I get a list.
From my little bit of research there is not a site that has all these. They only seem to take the most popular then rate them against each other.

The only difference that I can really come up with now. Is the user interface. If that is the app or control on the device.

Been running Brownings SF for years but the last 2 Strike Force we bought started having issues right after warranty ended. They are not what they use to be.

I just looked it up. They have the exact same display screen and prompts as my old Tasco Cams.


Are you able to see the pics on Apple devices from these camera's?

I'm far from technologically advanced so I really don't know. I just take the sd card out, replace it with a new one, take old sd card to my computer, insert card, and look at pictures.
