          Are those boots any good?

My son outgrows footwear at a ridiculous rate, but I'm tired of him dressing like an out of work baseball player ALL the time...need some reasonably priced boots.

I have two pair, they are very comfortable. My first pair I wore at work every day, working mostly in an office and some occasional field work, I had to put new soles on them after 5 years but that's wearing them every day. I'm happy with them and will continue to buy them.

They are like new again now that I had a new sole put on them.

To each their own but I would never set foot in a store that looks like this and think "I am fixin' to get some serious boots that will last."

I didn't realize they were trying to be that up-scale...I'm not going that route. I'll have to settle for whatever NRS sells, they are up the road.

I don’t know that Tecovas are made to be boots for a working cowboy but I’ve been happy with the couple pairs I have. Then again, what percentage of cowboy boots sold are worn by men who actually work cattle for a living, vs people who just like to wear them?

They are a good dress boot. I'm not out roping cattle in them. They serve me well for what I bought them for. Guess I must be turning into a Tech Bro. LOL

For sure. I worked in mine for a long time, but not cattle. At this rate, Brady won't own them for over a year, and he's in no danger of out working a pair of anything but batting gloves...

I bought a pair a few years ago when I moved from the field to the office. After one year of daily wear ( in the office) they began falling apart. Maybe my pair was a lemon but I’m not going to try another pair. I switched back to Justin’s and have been wearing the same pair every day for almost three years.

I'd get the notch-down brand of Anderson Bean in "Horse Power" and call it good for a growing boy. I remember wearing through a couple of pairs in high school and would do it again.
Once you're done feeding him veggies and beer get him a pair of Becks.

I live 9 miles from it, and pass it almost daily. John Justin was a name not spoken in our house growing up, as he bought Acme brick and declared "Fort Worth will be built with Acme Brick if we have to give them away", then he did. It ****** my grandad off so bad I have never owned a pair.
