Windows 10 going away??

I still use Windows 10 on my PC and like it. I keep hearing later this year they are going to quite doing security updates in an effort to force folks to download Windows 11. I have also heard that it may not work on older PC's. Thoughts on this???

I don’t think it is ‘going away’, they are just not going to support it anymore.

Microsoft ends support this October, but will offer a 1 year security patch for $30.

microsoft is stopping support and security updates for win10, it will still work, you just wont receive any more updates or security patches. im still running win7 on my personal laptop, zero issues.

Just FYI I have an HP Laptop that I got not to long after Win 10 was released. I had zero issues updating to Win 11. If pc was bought with older than Win 10 originally loaded I would go thru the lomg process of making sure everything is compatible. Good luck. I like Win 11 after adjusting to the changes.

Bought a refurbished computer with w11 on it for $300 . . Ready to go . . Just like moving I'm only transferring relevant stuff . . Computers have really improved in 10 years . .
