I got a new bow last Saturday, soooooooo

I had to go hunting!!!!!! This is the first new bow I've bought since I started hunting with compounds again a few years ago. It's a Darton Sequel 35 ST2, 60# at my 29.5" DL.

So, I got it home Saturday afternoon, and on Sunday began to get her all tuned up. By monday at noon, I had a broadhead, field point, and bareshaft touching each other at 20yds.

Well, a buddy had asked me if I wanted to come turkey hunt with him, so with new bow in hand, I headed up there on Wed.

Thursday morning, it all came together! A nice Tom came in about 8:30. Actually, there were 4 tons, but I didn't know it til after I shot mine. Anyway, he didn't go 10yds from where I shot him.

He was an average bird with a 9 3/8" beard but his spurs were only 1". I don't have any turkeys at my place, so don't get to hunt them very often. It's always a fun time!!!!!!

Now that I have the new bow broke in properly, it's time to get after some more critters!!!!! Who knows what adventure is next, but I'm always on the prowl!!!!!!

Thats awesome !!! I can hardly group 3 field points that tight much less a broad head and a bare shaft......congrats on the bird. Archery turkey birds are all trophies.
