    Wheel size

New to me truck has 20" wheels (2021 Tundra)
what's the best wheel size to switch to? 18" or 17" wheels and why? or should I leave the 20s on there?

I'd either stick with 20's or drop down to 18's. If you do drop down, make sure the smaller wheel doesn't interfere with your brakes. Specifically the rotors.

I personally don't care about 20" wheels. Also 20" Tires are more expensive.
Regarding the brakes, 99% of Tundras come with 18" wheels and are changed to 20" at the port of entry or by dealers.

Go with 18” rims. More rubber between your truck and the road means better ride, less chance of damaging a rim in a pothole and you won’t need bedazzled jeans and a flat brimmed hat the 20” Rim guys wear.

I am going to do the same, go to the Tremor/XLT wheels.

As far as clearance goes, it's the caliper you want to be aware of, not the rotor. Not sure if the Tundra has different size brakes based on trim level. Also make sure the back spacing is stock or close to. Otherwise you will get a wildly different look.

As far as pricing, 20" tires used to be a lot more expensive, but with so many cars going to 20", the pricing is pretty close to 18" wheels, and most of the off road type tires will offer both 18" and 20" versions of the same tread pattern.

Anyone got a Get 2 Tundra and want to swap wheels? I'll take your 18s in exchange for my 20s. Looking for Black Wheels. Tires are in pretty decent shape.

Yep, I meant caliper and had it pictured in my head. I was getting hammered with work emails and mistyped it.

Call the tire store and price the tire in each size. Usually there is a cheaper tire due to size and production volume. I like the bigger tire smaller wheel as well.
