I have a pair of 30-year Nikon binoculars that fell onto the floor pretty hard yesterday. Picked them up, looked thru them and knew they were jacked up pretty bad. I messed with them several times and still screwed up. Looked at the warranty online and figured it would be a waste of time since I probably didn`t register them 30 years ago. Was going to trash them, but decided to drop them several times to see if that would fix them. LOL........ Low and behold, after dropping them on the lenses 4 times they are perfect again. ***... I bought a new pair of Vortex Diamondback 10x50 binoculars last season, but actually liked the 30 year old Nikons better.

Dropped my nearly 50-yr old Bushnell 7x35s and really messed them up. What the heck, contacted them about repair and they said send ‘em in. Not repairable but they sent me a free replacement pair. But I still miss those old ones -
