    Stretching wifi signal

Is there anything I can buy to make my satellite Internet have a bit more reach? Trying to get stronger signal in metal building 150 feet away. I have some signal but signal strength says fair.

Wifi extender. Sure you could find them online or Best Buy type places. Maybe even thru your cable provider.

You need a point to point and maybe an extra access point. Extender probably won't do it.

If you have strong enough wifi outside the building you couldnuse an access point outside and run ethernet inside to another access point.

If you have Starlink buy some of their mesh nodes. I have two and they cover a couple acres including my shop which is about the same distance from my house as yours.

I had my IT guy install a mesh system for me and put 2 access points in my shop. One upstairs in the apartment and one downstairs on the shop area. Speeds are basically as fast as what I have in home. Its also beaming the signal quite well through some pretty thick trees. This was much easier and cheaper than going overhead or underground with hard wire.

Mesh might reach it. You could get a radio canopy to feed the shop and hook an AP to it. Extender won't cut it.

I have the same configuration basically. Metal shop 120 yards from the house. I’m using a TP Link Deco mesh system to cover my yard and shop. 3 Deco nodes give me good coverage on 2 acres of my property.

I used 2 of these in link. From metal building to metal building. Really the best route. I had over hang porches on both. So i put them up underneath. Hard wire from router out to antenna 1 then hardwire from antenna 2 inside to a new router or mesh pucks.. i did mesh pucks on ant 2 into 2nd building just because of the size and location of TV etc that are in it.

Mesh pucks wont hardly travel through metal building that far. If you have 2 windows facing each other than you can try that first. But 150 is a stretch.
