Well I gave mine a try using one pin. It's only set at 56#. Using my twenty yard pin, which is obviously set high, I shot at twenty, thirty and forty yards. There was just two inches difference from twenty to thirty yards but really dropped off at forty. So I would say yeah, you could use one pin from ten to thirty-five and still be in the kill zone, with one that was cranked up shooting at 70#'s.
