    Lawn Irrigation system needed

Are there any TBHers that install lawn irrigation systems in Brazos, Milam, or Robertson county or surrounding areas that can do a job for me?

if not, who or what type of business does this? I called a landscaping business but they said they only mow. Anyone landscaping business seems to have ghosted me. And a third ... um I guess he couldn't make it back from Mexico. He was supposed to call me when he returned.

Living in the country makes it difficult to find someone who will come out.

Tracey, give Larry at Raintec a call. I'm not sure he comes that far, however. He has been in the business a long time. You might also look toward Temple and maybe some one here knows someone over that way.

Rain Tec Irrigation Systems offers irrigation system installation, repair, & design. Aggie owned, serving all of Bryan & College Station TX.

Thank you. We wished we had it put in when you built the house. Entirely our stupidity.

I miss the Yellow Pages. You could easily look up local businesses that provide a specific services.

I went with natural plants and a gravel yard.

Ever thought about DYI? Other than the control board, it seems do-able. Mine would be manually controlled cause I am so tech challenged.

I did consider diy, but Im swamp dog busy and now I have a broken arm. Also, the system is to keep the foundation from cracking.

Soaker hose 12" away from the slab.

If a soaker hose won't keep the slab up then sprinkling the whole yard won't either. I'm guessing you have a post tension slab. My neighborhood is black texas gumbo and just about all of have had piers installed to raise their post tension slabs. I built mine and used rebar and 3' beams and can keep my house up with a soaker hose in July and August.
