Long shot- home for a sweet pup

My son found this sweet pup in our neighborhood on his way to church Sunday. Seems like maybe a litter got dumped, because 1 or 2 others that look alike were found the same day. She’s really timid, she hid in a corner in our garage all day Sunday, but would wag her tail if we came to scratch her ear.
but put her in a crate in the garage last night,
expecting a long barking night. Never heard from her until 7am when the kids went out to check on her.

would make a great pal for someone on the green screen! I would keep her in a heartbeat, but I’ve already got a pup that takes up most of my time with training. I know it’s a long shot, but I’m willing to meet up if someone will give her a good home

I'm going to check with my parents, they may be interested. Any idea what breed or more important how big she will get? Sounds like she is pretty young? Also, I'm assuming she is not fixed? Also, how did she do around other dog(s) and kids? Sounds like she did fine around kids.

she is a mix, looks like she is 1/2 Mississippi hoochie hound and 1/2 American leg dog 😂

im guessing she will be a medium build 40-50 lbs dog full grown with a short haired coat.

She had been great with kids. And honestly she is so timid I cannot imagine her being dog aggressive.

a good friend of mine owns an obedience training service and has offered to train her at a discounted cost. Not sure on the exact amount, but as gentle as she is and his training, she would be about the best pet I’ve ever seen

Frieda looks like she may have some Walker or Beagle in her.

Thanks for the reply. That helps. Sounds like she has been in the garage and crate. How has she done with going to the bathroom/potty training? I'm sorry for all of the questions but I'm asking for my parents and they are getting up there in age. They have time but not sure on the energy for training, etc. I passed this along to my parents and they are interested and thinking about it.

She has been in the crate at night and no whining barking and no accidents until this morning, but I’m having crate her all day today because of the weather and she had an accident or spilled her water bowl while I was making some work calls.

I’m in LBK, but if you want her, I’ll figure out a way to get her to someone

Please someone give this girl a home. Those sad eyes kill me. It's terrible...as I get older, I have more of a soft spot for animals than I do people. 😩
