here you go ... uploaded the video so you can see what the coon looks like .. it's a ground feeder square with cage on the bottom about a foot and a half off the ground..hope that helps put it into perspective ... 329 yards from the shoot tower i was on. feeder is the same as the 100 yard one you can see better in the pics before.

Here ya go. In this case, OP has thermal on white hot. So coon is the white spot in picture. Not good definition, but you can certainly see that something is at the feeder from 300 yards.

thanks man .. i didn't have it in me to re-download that pic .. i did however post the video from this pic where i zoom in to 9x and get to see the coon better as well as what the digital zoom does ... toward the end of that video , there is no doubt it's a coon .

Well, I've got an update.... I bought a polarized filter on amazon... 37mm to be exact and made a 3d printed adapter for the eyepiece of the hydra. I can now twist the polarized filter and adjust the screen brightness on the fly... I tested it a few nights ago just outside my house, and it does work sooooo good! i was able to still aim at objects , but it did not kill my night vision. in black hot where the entire background is white but more defined , just twist a tad more to dim it down a bit more and it's also perfect ... best part is i don't have to go into menus and fight my way through .. it's gonna be a game changer hunting at night!

As a negative note however, the wifi app sucks on it, so don't expect much from it ... the agm software i use on my taipan is flat out fantastic in comparison. I'm actually in the process of trying to find a way to get it mounted on my truck to drive at night.. I ended up plowing into a batch of hogs at night last year that messed up the bottom if my bumper on my truck , I plan on using the taipan wifi'd to an ipad so i can see them in the ditches further out. I also set it to auto record on recoil so next update , i'll try to get some kill footage into the mix so you get a better idea what it looks like
I took a 1x board and an old 1 piece pic rail from a rifle I no longer own and just used some wood screws through the action screw holes to the board. Then mount the board to whatever and the thermal to the pic rail. That's my cheap DIY.
