    Anybody wear Shady Rays?

Looking into getting a new pair of sunglasses. They will have to be prescription , so they wont be cheap. Before I order a pair, just wanted to see what the green screens thoughts were on them?

I’ve bought a lot of sunglasses over the years. Maui Jim and Bajio are what I would recommend.

I have a few SRs, but not prescription.
they work well and fit right.

I think their “Color rush” is worth it.

i just got a pair of their Z87 rated safety glasses and a pair with “readers”

I have had a pair of Shady Rays prescription glasses for 3 years. No issues except the rubber on the nose pieces recently broke.

My current prescription sunglasses are Costa. I’ve always like their products, but with prescription, they were almost $600. I rather not do that again.

Shady Rays are quality glasses and they give you free replacements if your glasses get broken or damaged.

Not too much experience as I just got my first pair 2 weeks ago. They are prescription sunglasses. I love them and they were less than $200. Every other set of glasses (Costa, Oakley, Bajio, etc) that I got to the cart was well over $500 and most over $600. Unless something changes I would highly recommend, especially considering the price. I also like the fact you can customize them as they have many different color lenses with all frames (at least that I saw). I don' t like dark glasses so I was able to get a much lighter tint with the frames I wanted. In fact I'm strongly considering getting another pair just like I have with clear lenses as the frames are bigger and give me better coverage (i.e. I can only see glass out of my peripheral vs frames with my every day glasses). These would still be my secondary glasses but I would wear them while hunting (thinking dove hunting, etc.) and working at the ranch.

No experience with prescription but have had several sets of Costa readers, they didn’t seem to hold up to everyday use too good. Last time i bought Shady Rays and am happy with them, especially the price difference.

This is pretty much how I would be wearing them. Im in and out of an office/truck most of the day. But really need them for occasional days of extended periods while outside. I’ve had my pair of Costas about 2 years, but normally only grab them when I’m on the tractor for a while, and such.

Go to Zenni and order some custom prescription sunglasses. Quality lenses and you can pick from many tints, styles.
