I knew with the substantial rains during growing season we were going to have an exceptional year in Mexico. Both the LF and HF pastures looked amazing at the end of summer, what's usually burnt brush and black grass was a lush garden full of butterfly's and waist tall grass.
The camera's were deployed late summer, and even I was shocked and trying to comprehend the bone I was looking at. We always have a big deer or 2, but this year we probably had a dozen pushing 160-200.
After the dust settled we won 1st HF Typical Mexico, 2nd HF Typical Mexico ( 7 inches broke still won ), had a deer place 4th HF NT Mexico and another that went 169. And we still had a pile of contests winners on the hoof we let walk.
Here's a few pictures of this years hammers. Viva!
