I’m going to Brownwood tomorrow. Somebody find me a puppy! Willing to travel. Poor. I have not worked since October from 2 ankle surgeries. I would wait and come up with money for the right dog.

We are on our 3rd Yorkie since '80. They are terriers but I wouldn't have anything else except maybe a daschund. They have long coats which we keep cut short (puppy cut) and they don't shed. The two major things you encounter with them are skin issues and teeth issues Vet friend says they have the worst dental health of any breed/

Try a Schipperkeye. We had one and it has been my wife's favorite dog. Around 10 to 15# in weight, bred to live on the barge houses of Belgium. Very loyal and easy to train.
