    Has anybody...

ever replaced the spark plugs on a 2005 Chevy Tahoe?

Is it a do it yourself job? What's the cost to do it? At a dealer? What kind of headache value should I factor in?

    Thanks for the input.

It's not to bad but the plug wires are a little hard to get off. Also do not go back with cheap spark plugs.

Thanks guys. All great advice. I may try to give it a go. Worst that could happen is I have to push it a quarter mile up the road to the dealer.

Yeah, and not to mention, there are 2 plugs for every cylinder which makes it twice as bad. Had to remove the entire throttle body to get to the left rear 2 cylinders. But, patience, Crown and lots of cussing got it done.

Assuming your tahoe is about like my 01 silverado, it's not that bad when you finally get the 1st one off. There's probably a heat shield around the boot. I had to spin mine a couple of revolutions before I could pop them and the wire off. Make sure you grab them low on the boot when you try to take them off.
Theres zero reason to mess up a coil on it. (if it's like mine)
