That's why it's gonna go away quick, provided we have heard the whole story.

I'm predisposed to hate tournament bass fishermen, because I think most of them are tools, even worse since livescope, but I couldn't name 3 these days. Never heard of that guy. Fraud for that case seems like a bridge too far, UNLESS they find that he fished in a tournament in Texas during that period he was fishing without a license. I imagine the fraud charge gets dropped before this goes very far. Know the rules, have a license.
          True.

I fish bass tournaments lol. There are plenty of tools, more so now than ever, but there are plenty of good dudes too. I've met some of my best friends though bass fishing.

I'm torn on the livescope, it is boring as **** to watch but I like doing it when fishing solo. I hate it in team tournaments and hope the team events eventually ban it. It is not a 2 person deal.

The guy claims to fish and buy licenses in 14 states. Sounds like an honest mistake. He admitted fault and paid the fine. Then months later the fish cop filed charges for fraud. Claiming he was trying to win a prize that he donated. It’s the fraud charges that completely BS.

Never ever talk to a possum cop........except if they are rescuing you from rising floodwaters.

Won't save you from a ticket if you leave your wallet in the truck while on the boat... ask me how I know.

He's not disputing the license ticket. He paid that fine already and thought he was done with this. Mr. Green Jeans conjured up the "fraud case" after the fact... ..That's what led to the booking and mugshot and Millikan is disputing that its a tournament or fraud. QB explained why green jeans pursued it as fraud......ridiculous.

Our licenses can be confusing and it is pretty easy to have the same thing happen. You actually can buy a year from the date of purchase all water fishing license in Texas as well as a Sept 1-Aug 31 regular annual fishing license. I had a customer who got caught without a license because of this. He had purchased a year from the date of purchase all water license. He thought he had bought a Sept1-Aug 31 license. Because it was year from the date of purchase it expired in June. He gets stopped in July after the year from the date of purchase had ended but before Aug 31 when he thought it was expiring and he ended up not having a valid license. He was honestly confused and he just assumed his license was good thru August. When he bought the license he says he just told them he needed a fishing license and that year from date of purchase all water license is what they sold him. He was in the wrong but the confusion in his mind tripped him up. Fortunately the GW let him buy a license online right there on the boat and let him slide with a warning.
