I believe they sell straps that you can use to mount.

I really like the look on the new TurtleBox Ranger. Smaller speaker and uses a magnetic and tie down system.

Yes. Turtlebox you can only link 1. Eco X Gear Defender you can link 100.

New turtleboxes can link multiple. I love my turtleboxes. Mud, rain, car wash, etc. We use ours every where. Super tough and rugged. Highly recommended.

Had a hunter at the ranch with his turtle box this dove season. he was ready to sell it for a jbl boom box after doing some side x side testing with our JBL speakers.

Yup ,, have had a JBL for about 4 years now. Thing is plenty loud enough and doesn't weigh 10lbs. Sounds great and easy to carry around.

I can get turtlebox at wholesale and won't buy one. They live by the name, threads like this and tailgates. They don't sound 250 good much less 400.

Funny how vortex gets bashed about warranty because "you need it" and thats bad. Here the speakers have good service for the same.issues. kid has something from Amazon that was 80 bucks, lives on a saltwater boat and sounds better

I have a turtle box, if it wasn’t free I wouldn’t have spent the money on it. That being said, the battery life and sound quality is really nice.

The Turtlebox is nice, but doesn’t have the sound quality for a $400 speaker. My 10 year old Bose Bluetooth speaker sounds better.

i hear pro's and cons but the reality is they somewhat paved the way for other brands to launch out and while some think their brand name sound is better like my bose bluetooth, which is true, it's not rugged or waterproof. I know the guys that launched it a bit and they are standup Texas dudes but either way i dont like music enough to spend good money on a product like that. (so there's a contribution to this thread that doesn't help - sorry! haaa)

Last few post hit the nail on the head. I have a few turtle boxes but I bought my employees Eco -x Gear's last Christmas when they were 10% off for 225$ and they love them and a very quick comparison showed them about on par with the turtle boxes (400$) for almost half the cost.

As mentioned above the Turtle Box Co are Texas based and good people that are outdoor mined. They did a great job marketing towards Sports & Outdoors with the ruggedness and took off with that avenue and have stuck with it and have a customer base that is pretty dang loyal. Similar to Yeti when they first came out (I have numerous Yeti's, Rtics and Yukons lol)

Cool speakers but there are absolutely better quality ones out there for the same price and less. But at the same time if you want to get a Turtle Box I don't believe you'll walk away disappointed. Just depends how much you want to spend.

I had the exogear first for about 3 years then it got to where it would only play if I had it plugged in so I pulled the trigger on the Turtlebox. I will say I think the sound quality and build quality on the Turtlebox is a little better.

I'm good friends with 2 of the turtlebox founders. They are good Christian men with young families. They started the idea out of their garage. It's pretty cool to see what they have grown. While some say their sound isn't worth the money, I'll tell you what is, the durability. I have a couple and they bounce around in the bed of my truck, ride on the floor board of my sxs. Get muddy, wet, etc. Their durability makes them well worth the money for me. Plus I like supporting them.

I like that they give back to the outdoors community, they sponsor alot of the good fishing channels and apps that I like. I've seen many companies get rich on outdoorsmen and then turn their back on them.
