Got a buddy of mine here in Victoria that bought a used Mathews switch back XT Solo cam, Has new strings, new rest, arrows, broadheads. He was thinking of starting bow hunting but has changed his mind and wants to sell everything. What would be value or good place for him to start on asking price. Me personally Im thinking $500-$600 but have no clue. I know Matthews are good high end bows but have no clue on value never have priced them much. Thanks

What rest and what arrows?
As a buyer I would say 400-450 bare bow.Last edited by canamxmr2011; 02-16-2012, 10:11 AM.

Sounds like the OP is in a fair range for the asking price. Depending on the equipment that he has packaged with it he should be able to easily get the price range that he is looking towards.

price it at $475 complete package and it will be gone in < 10 minutes
unless the new buyer has the exact same DL , then more money has to be spent on cams and tuning to make the bow fit properly
additionally, the bow has no warranty should problems arise
i use to shoot a SBXT and agree it is one of the best M bows produced, as Smart pointed out, the bow is 5+ yrs old

I don't see it on the XT no matter how good it was back in the day. But I guess we'll see...hopefully he finds the right person. Let us know how it goes Todd P!
