    Question

I need some Green Screen Wisdom.

So I got this boat at a really good deal but seems all good deals come with strings.

The boat is a Tracker Grizzly 1754 has a 78in beam and weighs 505lbs I was told it was smaller but was happy when they told me it was a 17, it has some hull damage that needs to be welded but I already have that covered.

My question, will a 15 horse 4 stroke push this boat, I know it won't be fast at all just want to get input from someone who has used a small motor on a big boat.

the other thing is I need a trailer for it and would like to get the tracker trailer that fits it and a new one is way too much money for this poor soul. Are there any secret web sites for boat trailers that you know of or and shop in the DFW area that isn't on the web I could call about a trailer.

    Thanks For Listening
    Razor

15 will have a really hard time with that boat. Is it a long shaft 15? Even a 25 would be too small. My 17ft skiff has a 50 and it could really use a 75.

As for trailers, you can look on Craigslist but I don't know of any secret trailer inventory.

15 will push it if your just pond hoppin. Needs a bigger engine for anything more than that. Trailers you can find all day on Craigslist for under $300 for what you need for that boat. Google "all of craigslist" you may have to travel to pick something up but probably worth it

Yes its a long shaft and Pond/creek fishing is what I mainly do with an occasional trip to Fork to fish under the bridge.

You can get around on ponds but I don't think I would head to biggers waters, getting caught on a lake if the wind kicks up could be a problem
